Reisverslag Hey y'all!

here is a little newsflash from Dallas to you yo let you know what I'm up to and how the trip went :D! Thanks for reading. Enjoy xx
So, Tuesday morning it all began. When my alarm went off in the morning, I was thinking to myself; Aishah, WHAT are you going to do NOW again. Why the USA? Are you crazy? Out of your mind? Haha. I couldn't help being a little frightened. It was over soon as I was preparing everything. Mom was picking me and Mark up from my friends place and off we went. Unfortunately my friend Amina could not make it in my moms tiny car with my big suitcase to come with us. So we sadly had to say good bye to her at her house first.
So, checking in went already with a little struggle as the security guy was asking me stuff about what I was going to do in the USA. Tried to explain about the DTS but the guy was not really understanding. I was praying that God would let me go through. Things went fine eventually. While I was waiting for approval I saw Mark speaking to someone I couldn't see, far away. I thought; that guy is being social again. Haha. He gets along with anyone. Now I know that it was my amazing friend Lotte to surprise me and give me a good bye hug :)! Saying good bye took a little to long... As the lines where my handbag and passport were being checked were amazingly LONG... Woops.. Did not see that problem coming. After I got through, the screen said the gate of my flight was closing.. I don't think I ever ran that hard. I sat down after in the plane when all the others were already seated. I'm not gonna share how long it took after that when the doors closed. Some people might get a weak hart from that fact :p. Anyway. Praise the Lord :D. USA here I come!
Sitting down, was the first moment I could actually relate to the fact that I was REALLY leaving by now. When the plane took off I thought; allright.. That's it. 6 months. No Holland. I knew it was the right thing, but it felt hard to leave my beloved ones behind. Got to go through all the movies and series from the screen, all the way to Houston. 11 hours later I had it with watching and thank God I landed in Houston :p.
So after this flight, I spend time in Houston before getting to my last flight to Dallas. I was so tired. Kits parents picked me up from the airport and that was sooo relieving. I was ''home''! For those who don't know why I'm going to Dallas first; Sumaya had planned a wedding reception at this time here in Texas. Unfortunately it could not happen anymore, and my tickets were already set. So now I'm able to stay here at her husband Kits parents :). And they are the sweetest! Taking excellent care of me. Dallas is a ''neat'' place. As the Americans would call it :p. Everything is spread out and BIG. Cars, houses, buildings, anything! Mega shops as well. I was shocked.
These days I had the time to really SIT/LAY DOWN/SLEEP and relax. After all the crazy and hectic weeks I've had. Getting rest is amazing. It's really like holiday before I start my DTS. I'm thankful for this time in between :). So tomorrow we will go in the city again and go to the mall. After a Skype date with the cutest guy ever and his mom!
Sunday morning I fly out from Dallas to Detroit and than to Milwaukee. From there I will take the bus to Madison where my DTS will be :). I leave at 5.15 am here and will arrive at 5:15 pm. Long long day again! I'm getting excited to see the place and meet the people now! It's time for a new adventure! Let's see what is ahead. God will show amazing things for sure. Can't wait to share it with you guys on my blog. Missing you already!! Love y'all!
Lots of love from America xx
