Knock knock... Outreach is coming!
So here is another blog. Thanks for following my adventures within the US (so far!). Cause in less than 2 weeks I will be (again) on the other side of the world. Even further away from Europe than I am now. Last Saturday we did shopping for outreach. Stuff like sunscreen, DEET against mosquito's, some snacks in case I would not want to eat the crazy stuff we will see in PNG. God gave me VERY good shoes for outreach, that I really still needed and prayed for. There they were one morning on my bed :) Shoes I can use to get off and on the ship when we need to enter places on the islands in PNG. They are good to go in water and to walk on too. Praise God!
I am getting excited for the adventure. First it was a hard time for me. I didn't believe that I was capable of going there and serving. I was afraid for everything that was going to come my way in doing this type of outreach. Now actually I am a lot more confident. God has been changing a lot within me. He has shown me the things He wants me to do there and to enjoy being with God and trust Him trough everything. It will be an adventure for sure :D !! And I can't wait to post you guys what our adventures are like in PNG. We will work at least 6 days a week. It will be a lot of physical intensity. But good after 3 months of lecture phase and not doing much besides that! So I am looking forward to be exhausted at the end of the day and actually doing a lot more practical stuff.
So, the last two weeks have been great. I did not write a blog a week ago, and the blog before that was really short. Mostly we had outreach preparation and our last bits of lecture. Last week we stayed in a beautiful large home to have our focus week with my little group that is learning about Prayer & Worship (Dwell). We spent our week worshiping, singing and playing instruments. It has been great. We are very thankful for our hosts for letting us spend time within their beautiful home in a little town called Oconomowoc. We have been served above what we asked for. I loved it so much. I had my own room this week and a gigantic bed all to myself. It was like a small gift from God. To relax and enjoy a little before the ''hardcore'' comes on Outreach! Hahaha.
Getting ready for sure now! With this in mind, knowing that our lecture phase has ended now is a good thing. I can say my view on God has changed in sooo many (good!) ways during this DTS so far. I am looking forward to what is more to come. The coming week we will be going to a conference in Missouri (long drive away!). This conference is being held by the couple that started YWAM. I am excited to this week, where we will be in a lot of seminars and spending more time with my amazing family here in DTS. It will be our last big thing as a group before we will split apart to all the nations around the world to bring light & life at places where it might be lonely for people to be at.
So, the 21st of April, we will leave Chicago in the afternoon. From there, we will be on our way for 46 (!) hours. We are flying through Hong Kong first, than to Cairns (Australia). From here we will transfer to our destination; Port Moresby. We will stay here for 3 weeks to work at the orphanage. The couple that lives here is well known within YWAM. We will go there, and our leader Chelsea already knows the owner. So that is nice :). After these weeks we will fly up north to Madang. Around Madang we will work on land with MercyShips for a period of two weeks. Than we will go on board with them and sail around the islands. As most of you know, most of these missions will be medical. I am proud to use my nursing skills! And I can't wait to see the nature. I've seen a lot of very pretty pictures of the coast of PNG and the reefs they have there. It will be so exciting.
Thank you for all those who have sponsored me already until now. I can't say THANK YOU enough. God has been really good with providing my needs. I am at this time still in need of €1400. Please pray along for provision. Also, if you consider prayfully about contributing, please do say to A Mousa

Love you all, and I can't wait to see most people again in less than 3 months! I am excited to being back home as well, even that I feel so blessed being here. Home is where the heart is, people say ;)
